A young French international defender who was rumoured to have been on his way to one of the English Premier League big teams but choose to go to Red Bull Salzburg in search for more first team football. At only 17 years old, he seems to have already became an established and trusted member of the team’s defence.

At seventeen years old, the young defender is already physically ready to play in the senior squad. He is a strong, powerful and aggressive centre back who also possesses decent enough pace for a defender. Even at such a tender age, he can handle older more physical players just as well as seasoned professionals. However, he is still growing and can still improve his physical abilities. Very good leap for such a young centre back which makes him very effective at defensive heading situations.

His first touch is not the greatest but still decent. He doesn’t have the greatest passing range however he still is a capable passer. In terms of his technique going forward, he isn’t the strongest but defensively, he is solid. His tackling and heading technique are impressive for such a young player. And, is also equally impressive in one on one situations against an opposing attackers.

His positioning is at times questionable and can sometimes get caught under the ball or completely not in line with his other defenders. This can create situations were he can at times play people on side. He is a front foot defender and loves to the engage the forward and attack any aerial balls coming in his direction. Can be too eager at times and misjudge tackles or situations. His anticipation and decision making is very representative for a player who hasn’t yet matured in his position. In time, it would be seen if he can improve on a few of his tactical mishaps.

Potential: (World Class)

******* (7/10)

He has potential to one day play for his country and play in one of Europe’s top leagues. With big clubs such as Manchester City and Manchester United already interested in the youngster, it won’t be a surprise to see this young defender signed by one of Europe top clubs in the near future.
